Service Description

*** Next course after Beginner level 2. If you didn't take the Beginners 2 Spanish course with us, we strongly recommend you to do the placement quiz to check if this level is right for you. *** In the Pre-Intermediate Spanish course, we focus on speaking about past events, learning about and focusing on the proper use of the preterit and imperfect past tenses in conversations. We also learn about and use the direct and indirect object pronouns, practice creating longer, more complex sentences, and learn useful typical idiomatic expressions used during verbal interactions at this level. The group size is kept at six students maximum, to maximize student-teacher interactions. The goal is for you to be able to talk coherently about facts (present or past), and give explanations concerning the social, personal or work experiences you are describing, when talking about familiar topics that are not too complex.
