Service Description
BEGINNERS 2 SPANISH This adult group course is designed for students who already have a solid foundation in basic Spanish and are ready to become more comfortable speaking and understanding the language. NOT SURE IF THIS IS THE RIGHT LEVEL? We recommend taking our Beginners Spanish Placement Test before enrolling. Beginners 2 builds on the skills developed in Beginners 1, with a strong emphasis on speaking, listening, and using what you already know in longer, more natural interactions. You’ll learn to use ser and estar confidently in everyday situations, talk about future plans and events, and expand what you can express with useful conversational structures such as tener que (have to), ir a + infinitive (going to), and acabar de (just did something). Throughout the course, you’ll put these structures into practice through conversations, listening activities, dialogues, and real-life scenarios designed to help you move beyond short, isolated sentences. BONUS: SELF-PACED AUDIO PRACTICE Beginners 2 students also receive access to our guided Spanish audio practice, created especially for this course. These self-paced activities let you practice listening at home through realistic situations and short stories, with vocabulary preparation, listening challenges, comprehension questions, and opportunities to listen again at your own pace. The goal is simple: to help you get better at understanding spoken Spanish without the pressure of keeping up with a live conversation. New audio activities will continue to be added, giving you additional opportunities to practice between classes and build your listening confidence. SMALL GROUPS — MAXIMUM 6 STUDENTS Small classes mean plenty of opportunities to speak, interact, ask questions, and receive personalized attention. You’ll also receive weekly practice to reinforce what you learn in class and continue developing your Spanish between sessions. If you already know the basics but want to turn that knowledge into real communication — and become more confident understanding Spanish when you hear it — Beginners 2 will help you take that next step.
