Service Description
INTERMEDIATE SPANISH This adult group course is the next step after Pre-Intermediate and is designed for students who are ready to bring together what they’ve learned and communicate with greater fluency, flexibility, and confidence. BRING YOUR SPANISH TOGETHER At the Intermediate level, the focus shifts from learning individual structures to combining them more naturally in conversation. You’ll continue strengthening your use of the present and preterite tenses while learning to use reflexive verbs comfortably in everyday interactions. EXPAND WHAT YOU CAN TALK ABOUT You’ll also learn to use the future and conditional tenses, giving you new ways to talk about future events, make predictions, discuss possibilities, and express what you would do in different situations. SPEAK WITH GREATER FLUENCY Guided conversations are at the heart of this course. You’ll regularly combine past, present, and future language while working toward longer, more spontaneous interactions. The goal is not simply to know more Spanish, but to access what you already know more quickly and use it with greater ease and accuracy. A BRIDGE TO ADVANCED SPANISH Intermediate brings together the skills developed throughout the previous levels and prepares you for the more complex conversations and language you'll encounter at the Advanced level. By the end of the course, you’ll be better prepared to participate in everyday interactions with Spanish speakers, respond more spontaneously, and express your ideas with greater detail and confidence. SMALL GROUPS — MAXIMUM 6 STUDENTS Small classes mean plenty of opportunities to speak, interact, ask questions, and receive personalized attention. You’ll also receive weekly practice to reinforce what you learn in class and continue developing your Spanish between sessions. If you’re ready to move beyond carefully constructing sentences and start using your Spanish more naturally and spontaneously, Intermediate is your next step.
